Yeah its 7-7-07!!!!! We had our church picnic today which was fun i'll try to post pics later! I had a blast and really enjoyed myself so anyways well gotta run! Everytime I post something I say that I'll try to do better about posting stuff well this time I am lol!! Talk to ya next time!!!!!!!!

Michigan, for 2 days, actually maybe 3 lol!

Yeah you go it i'm in MI!!!! I'm at my Grandma's house, We came up yesterday left around like 3:30p.m. and it takes like o i dunno like for us 7 hours to get up here lol!! But yeah so My granparents live in like Rockford wich is like around Grand Rapids! So anyways, we came up to get our camper and we're leaving tomorrow early! Grrrrrrrr!!! If you know me you KNOW that i HATE getting up early and that you DON'T wake me up lol!!!!!!!! but yeah i guess i'll just have to get over it lol!! But anyways we're gunna go to the musical fountains tonight which i have never been to but have heard about!!! But yeah we were gunna go to Holland today which i have been to b4 but i don't remember lol! It was like back when my mom and Janice Metz did stuff together so anyways but my dad didn't feel up to it so annyways. . . . Yeah I'm already doing better about keeping this thing updated lol!!!!! Well, thats it for now i'll try to get some pics on here later!!!!!!!!! ~Lorna

To stupid to own a computer LOL!!!!!

My Uncle Doug sent this to me a while ago and i thought that i would share it with y'all cause i now know that at least one person reads this so I'll try to do better now about updating it!



This has to be one of the funniest things in a long time. I think this guy should have been promoted, not fired. This is a true story from the WordPerfect Helpline, which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the customer care department. Needless to say the Help Desk employee was fired; however, he/she is currently suing the WordPerfect organization for "Termination without Cause."


Actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee.(Now I know why they record these conversations!):


Operator: "Ridge Hall, computer assistance; may I help you?"

Caller: "Yes, well, I'm having trouble with WordPerfect."

Operator: "What sort of trouble??"

Caller: "Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words went away."

Operator: "Went away?"

Caller: "They disappeared."

Operator: "Hmm. So what does your screen look like now?"

Caller: "Nothing."

Operator: "Nothing??"

Caller: "It's blank; it won't accept anything when I type."

Operator: "Are you still in WordPerfect, or did you get out??"

Caller: "How do I tell?"

Operator: "Can you see the 'C: prompt' on the screen??"

Caller: "What's a sea-prompt?"

Operator: "Never mind, can you move your cursor around the screen?"

Caller: "There isn't any cursor; I told you, it won't accept anything I type."

Operator: "Does your monitor have a power indicator??"

Caller: "What's a monitor?"

Operator: "It's the thing with the screen on it that looks like a TV. Does it have a little light that tells you when it's on??"

Caller: "I don't know."

Operator: "Well, then look on the back of the monitor and find where the power cord goes into it. Can you see that??"

Caller: "Yes, I think so."

Operator: "Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me if it's plugged into the wall."

Caller: "Yes, it is."

Operator: "When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just one??"

Caller: "No."

Operator: "Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and find the other cable.

Caller: "Okay, here it is.

Operator: "Follow it for me, and tell me if it's plugged securely into the back of your computer."

Caller: "I can't reach."

Operator: "OK. Well, can you see if it is??"

Caller: "No."

Operator: "Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean way over??"

Caller: "Well, it's not because I don't have the right angle -- it's because it's dark."

Operator: "Dark??"

Caller: "Yes - the office light is off, and the only light I have is coming in from the window."

Operator: "Well, turn on the office light then."

Caller: "I can't."

Operator: "No? Why not??"

Caller: "Because there's a power failure."

Operator: "A power .... A power failure? Aha. Okay, we've got it licked now. Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff that your computer came in??"

Caller: "Well, yes, I keep them in the closet."

Operator: "Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack it up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from."

Caller: "Really? Is it that bad?"

Operator: "Yes, I'm afraid it is."

Caller: "Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them??"

Operator: "Tell them you're too stupid to own a computer!!!"

Yeah hey thot i would update this thing!!! Today is Benji's birthday as well as Memorial Day! This morning we went to the mason parade and my Aunt Di and Uncle Jim, Levi, Jamie and Emily were there then we walked down to see my Uncle Dean's grave cause they got the headstone up so we went to see that it's real nice sorta plain but nice, then we came home and John Todd and Ashliegh my cousin got here ate then got in the pool and had a real fun time my dad got in with us and it was real fun! Well, thats about it for now! I won't make any promises about keeping this updated for any of you that check it cause i won't be ablr to keep it LOL! but yeah i have to go now cause we're gettin ready to head to Wal-Mart!!

yeah sorrrry i don't update like EVER if you can tell but like no one checks this thing anyway!! well my life has been pretty busy lately but whats new LOL!!! but yeah well i have to go i don't have much time but i wanted to post something in here so if anyone does check this thay don't think i'm dead lol!! l8r!!

Hey y'all sorry its been a while since i made my last post like anyone checks this or anything and sorry about not gettin the rest of the pictures of Andrea's wedding or the Holy Land on! But yeah alots happened since then! But yeah yesterday was the LBA walk-a-thon and they did a lil party for my Aunt Ona so that was sweet! Today is Bethany's graduation party and i think we're planning on going so that might be fun i think that Ruthie's going so i can hang out with her then tomorrow my mom is making Sunday dinner and we're taking it to my aunts house and my grandparents are gunna be there and so are my Aunt Vickie, Uncle Doug, cousin Heather and her two ADORABLE lil kids Michaela and Josiah! Well, that's about all that's special happening in my life right now lol! I'll try to do better for those of you who might check this to keep it updated!
